What a full and fast year this has been! I was thinking of Hatrack today and of all the events that showed up on our forum. There were events that truly were "Hatrackian" like KamaCon...and then there are personal events that became Hatrack events, like Sophie. There were unpleasant events, touchy events *coughelectioncough* and truly sad events. I've been thinking about quite a few actually.
So here's the beginning of my look back. Please add events that stand out in your mind and all the many that I've forgotten.

November: One of our favorite hatrackers spent some time in the hospital ( ), but then we witnessed Elizabeth's miraculous recovery! (And we were all incredibly happy to see her back!)
Tony and I were engaged in April, but as we both knew each other before Hatrack it wasn't really a Hatrack event. I guess the same goes for Dagonee's wedding and Anna's wedding. (Phrased carefully so as not to suggest Dagonee and Anna married each other ).
This was my first full Jan-Dec year of Hatrack and I enjoyed it. Thanks y'all!

Elizabeth, should you want to make links, it's pretty easy. (Of course, you don't have to! )
I'll write it so you can see it. I substituted "[" and "]" for "<" and ">" in the example below.
quote:To link to TinyUrl.com, put brackets around "url=" followed by the address. Then type in the words you want to be underlined as the link, e.g., "Here is TinyUrl." Follow with closing brackets around "/url."
I can't believe I didn't put Elizabeth on there...she was one of the first things to enter my mind too. I'm glad someone else picked up the slack as IMO, that was a HUGE Hatrack event this year.

In December, Jatraqueros donated to First Book.
Also in December, something happened that was so huge I'm surprised to see that it hasn't been mentioned yet. Perhaps it's still very close and real to us all. Tsunami strikes after strong earthquake.Posts: 701 | Registered: Jul 1999

You know, I'm stunned at how many people in that picture I could name; there were only a handfull I was unsure of.

Kama, I missed your awesome calendar before. That is really nice! Thanks for taking the time to add the pictures!

(though, names to go with the group pictures might be a nice addition for those of us not cool enough to know everyone...)

I loved the page on Centaurion. It made me realize anew how much I missed him. I can't believe it when people like that die. I don't see how the world can let go of them.

*cough* Kama, I noticed that the April page of your calendar was blank. Quite frankly I'm shocked at this. I expected to open the page and find a huge picture of myself (how hideous would that be!) since that's the month I came to Hatrack.

Speaking of looking back, today's my 4 year anniversary on Hatrack. I guess I really don't post all that much, do I?
