Then in that case...
"Something has changed within me Something is not the same I'm through with playing by the rules Of someone else's game Too late for second-guessing Too late to go back to sleep It's time to trust my instincts Close my eyes... and leap It's time to try Defying Gravity I think I'll try Defying Gravity And you can't pull me down..."

If I had to pick a quote from Wicked for a signature, it would be:
--------------- "Where I come from we believe all sorts of things that aren't true--we call it history"
Or maybe:
--------------- Galinda: "Now that we're friends, I've decided to make you my new project." Elphaba: "You don't have to do that." Galinda: "I know, that's what makes me so nice!"
Both of which are some of my favorites, as far as spoken dialogue. I couldn't begin to pick a favorite song.

--------------------- There are, it has been said, two types of people in the world. There are those who, when presented with a glass that is exactly half full, say: this glass is half full. And then there are those who say: this glass is half empty. The world belongs, however, to those who can look at the glass and say: What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!

Hey, that's one of my favorite Y!M statuses*!
* Is that a word?!? I searched on dictionary.com and it didn't say anything about a plural, except for one entry that had "statuses"...

To win a hundred victories in a hundred battles is not the acme of skill. To subdue the enemy without fighting is the acme of skill.

Speaking of the glass half empty/glass half full, I like this variant:
The pessimist thinks that the glass is half empty. The optimist thinks that the glass is half full. The engineer thinks that the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.

This thread made me giggle. If I had a Hatrack sig, it would probably be my usual one : I know what I know And I'll sing what I say We come and we go That's a sing that I keep in the back of my head
