Is that an arm or a leg? What happened? I bet you could use some of that Neosporin with pain killer in it. Any kind of ointment with lidocaine should help a lot.

It's on my leg--I got a high ankle sprain and a broken fibula when I fell skating. Disco night at the roller rink proved not as fun as expected. I saw my latest x-rays: two long screws through both the leg bones (to fix the ligament damage) and about four or five small ones through the fibula to fix the break. After six months I can start considering having them removed.
It actually doesn't hurt at all. It's been healing for about five weeks. It's mostly scar tissue.
