Somebody must have asked that centipede "how's it hangin'?" before it walked down your leg.

I asked my bishop that once. Suddenly I had a burst of clarity as to what it meant.

Your bishop is a catarpillar?

-0-

My brother calls it my zipper. Seems fitting, as they'll have to go back in there some day.

Is that an arm or a leg? What happened? I bet you could use some of that Neosporin with pain killer in it. Any kind of ointment with lidocaine should help a lot.

It's on my leg--I got a high ankle sprain and a broken fibula when I fell skating. Disco night at the roller rink proved not as fun as expected. I saw my latest x-rays: two long screws through both the leg bones (to fix the ligament damage) and about four or five small ones through the fibula to fix the break. After six months I can start considering having them removed.

It actually doesn't hurt at all. It's been healing for about five weeks. It's mostly scar tissue.

Does it really mean that, or did it originally come from something else (like, you know, surfing?)

I mean, I know the standard slightly vulgar joke answer is "Low and a little to the left", but I thought that was a vulgar joke.

Huh I thought the standard reply was "Long, loose and full of juice".

A friend of mine who loves spoonerisms was once talking to a Methodist Bishop about a place (I believe it was a hotel) called "The Fuzzy Duck"

Poor girl never lived it down...
