I vaguely remember commercials for it, but don't think I've seen it. The cover art looks kinda like a proto-Potter. Not that a kid in glasses and a kindly old wizard are all that unique a concept, of course.

Come now the voice acting was top notch... You just need to close your eyes throught the animated sequences.

I found Catch-22 to be one of those books you understand better after seeing the movie. I watched the movie and thought "Man, that was way darker than the book." Then I reread the book and thought "Wait, no it's not."

I think the movie from my childhood I remember with the most nostalgia is The Sandlot. Or maybe The Land Before Time. One of those two.

I liked it that movie. I think it came out back in my kindergarden days. I don't think people could easily forget it.

I remember when I went to see it for the first and only time. It was in elementary school I think, and a girl asked me if I wanted to go, so I did. Actually it was more like the girl's mom asked if I wanted to join them, as I was already at their house, so I said sure, sort of assuming that her mom would pay for me, as I was, I don't know 10 or so at the time, and didn't have much money.
But no, had to pay for myself, and then I couldn't afford any snacks, and I was late getting in. Then on top of that, I didn't even like the movie.
All in all it was a bad experience.

Pagemaster was pretty sweet. I enjoyed adventure and when horror does his little skit about whats waiting for them in the house of horror.

We watched The Pagemaster several times a year in elementary school. It was supposed to be a "reward" after we finished standardized testing... everyone despised it after a couple of years.
