Yeah, I saw those a few days ago. I imagine they're illegal in several states.

I would get so distracted if I saw any of those. The pretty colors would be the end of me. But still, very cool.

I think those things are pretty cool, but the hazard on the road they could be far outweight the cool factor.

Is it a bad thing that I've contemplated making a version of these for my bike?

I'm generally not a fan of the whole, "pimped out rim" thing, but those are pretty cool.

Probably too much of a hazard to be worth it, but still cool.

Look at us, we have too much money, too much time, too much ego, too much technology, too much bad taste, and no need to concentrate on actually driving our cars. [Roll Eyes]

Those are possibly the tackiest things I've ever seen.

I'll get back to you once I've weighed them against the singing fish wall plaques.

"Hey baby, call me" rims? It's good that you can customize them on the fly though. I suppose they'd be as tacky as the person who owned them, so maybe you're right.

Then again, the market is probably the same people who drive around with their windows down playing music at 120db.

EDIT - don't forget, they're starting at the low, low price of $12,500 for a set of 4

Actually, it'd be pretty cool on bicycle spokes to keep ya highly visible while night-riding.
Of course, ya'd probably be bumped a lot by distracted car drivers.

I'm still waiting for computer-controlled subdermal LED implants.....sose I can make the tattooed crowd weep.

Oh, I love my singing fish! I thought it was horrible when my dad gave it to me for my birthday one year. His thought was that it would keep me company while I was working from home. Yeah. Not so much. It gathered dust until I thought of the perfect place for it.

I put it in my guest bathroom, directly across from the toilet. The entertainment factor for everyone in the house, including the guest using the facilities is absolutely priceless.

Those are just asking someone to steal them so the robber can make quick money on the blackmarket.

I should explain my earlier remark. If my husband sees them, he will want to put them on our 1993 Ford Escort wagon. 'Nuff said.

Now I have to explain - this is CaySedai, but I forgot my daughter was logged in. (insert rolling eyes smiley here because I'm on my mom's computer and it won't allow the Graemlins popup.)

I want those for my rollerblades. I have a few friends who would like them for their skateboards.
