I'm about 17 weeks pregnant and a chance of another miscarriage has decreased dramatically. I am due on October 7th, a day later than my sister-in-law. We are all excited and are curious how our 3 year old will handle a sibling. I will post if it is a boy or a girl by the end of this month after we have an ultrasound.

Congratulations! That's so exciting! Man, I can't believe you already have a three year old! I remember when you were single and working cleaning hotel rooms! Time sure does fly.
Chrissie Hynde once said that motherhood was like this secret society with this really weird initiation rite. When I read the thread title, I thought to myself "secret society of motherhood".
