See, that's why most anime leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I assumed Spirited Away would be really bad because most of the dubbed anime I've seen has been badly done.

You watch Inu Yasha? *shivers* *loses all respect for Blayne* *realizes he didn't really have any to begin with*

But surely you mean Anime being as that is the plural for Anime. (Normally I wouldn't point this out, but being as we're complaining about what Americans do to Anime in translations... )
Personally I just don't care for Anime much anymore, used to like them, now I just... don't.

Anime you should probably watch at least an episode of, even if you hate Anime: Trigun, Planetes, Love Hina, Onegai Sensei (Please Teacher in the USA). If you want to see some good live action Japanese dramas, check out: Densha Otoko, GTO (some adult content).

I am going through Bleach right now. As far as Shounin Anime goes its REALLY good. It might be a bit too silly for those who like straight up dark bloody anime like Hellsing.

You know that's interesting because I'm feeling like that too. I'm just tired of series having awesome mid-act episodes then totally going downhill after that.
I originally just chalked it up to cultural differences (and still do to a point) but no, they just don't know how to take a really cool concept and tell a good storyPosts: 1236 | Registered: Mar 2002
