My darling Mrs_maven made a perfect loaf of bread last night, and I just wanted to share that with you (the news not the loaf, it's long gone...)

We got a bread maker a couple of weeks ago and have been experimenting with different flours and mixes with varying results.

Hoorah for Mrs_maven!

Thankyou for your attention. You may now return to your normal activities.

Details, man, details! Was it white, whole wheat, rye . . . ? Did you eat it warm, with butter? Make it into sandwiches?

You call that post "praise"? [Razz]

Ooh, you twisted my arm - a 750g medium crust loaf made from 50:50 mix of white and organic wholemeal.

Scoffed at breakfast, toasted, with vegemite and then 'Oxford' marmalade. Washed down with a big cup of tea.

Marvellous I tell you. [Big Grin]
