That's fine, we'll have it be guesses. I'll change the scoring.

You know your movies! [Big Grin]

I am wracking my brains for 1 and 2, 'cause I think I should know them, but I don't want to waste guesses. And I'm not sure enough to move forward. It is a dilemma.

I am probably going to start guessing anyway, since I think I can now.

I can't imagine it is so, but:

2. Red Shoes Diaries?

and

1. The Music Man? (but I don't know about anvil -- that should be in a movie with a cartoon rabbit)

Fellowship strikes me as more likely, with the Prancing Pony being the pub. And I guess the father daughter relationship would be Arwen and Elrond (and in Two Towers it'd probably be Theoden and Eowyn). Magic is obvious for both.

What about the Village though? Does Bree count as a village? Or Hobbiton? Or are they talking about the villages in the Westfold? Could be either.

Four is not any of the LotR's movies.

And CT, the anvil is a reference to the profession of the salesman who is trying to bring down Harold Hill.

Whenever I hear that movie title I always think of "The Gnome Mobile" which I loved as a kid. Don't know why, I don't even think I've seen it.

So I got #10? Hoorah! Having one point on the scoreboard makes me feel special.

(and the "not fair" in the previous post was a general kind of 'not fair of the universe' not 'brojack did something that's not fair' type of thing)

Ah. Beyond the powers of my recollection. *smile

So, if #[2] is an old-tymer, then it's not Save the Last Dance, I take it. *sigh

I'm tapped out.

You can refine the search. When you first search for a keyword, it'll prompt you with a list of other keywords that you can choose that help you refine the search. Then you keep adding more words until you are left with a dwindling list.

That leaves CT, Lyrhawn, and Feer tied for first. So duke it out!

Tiebreaker.

Uh, I say you put up three more sets and whichever of them answers first, or answers the most, wins.

Or one of them can just concede.

But tiebreakers are fun and exciting!

It was the "old-tymer" that helped me get it.

So just to make sure, it is 3 geusses through the whole round right?

Tie breaker, Different rules?

Nah. Three guesses PER HOUR for each round.

And for the tie-breaker, heck I don't know. Sure, same rules. If none of the people tied for the top can get it, then Leonide can just pick somebody.

No sense in making it too complicated.

(Too late!)

Okay, for the tie-breaker:

1. Dog, Fashion Show, Bear, Mustache - Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Feer

2. Clown, Streaking, Fraternity, Dream Sequence

3. Fiance Fiancee Relationship, Shot in the Butt, Flower Market, Best Friend

these movies all have one bigger common thread, probably more connections that i haven't thought of as well. have at it!
