Oh I know. And it still works great. But when it comes to gadgets I always want the latest and greatest, regardless of whether I need it or even have any use for it.

I was very tempted by the $80 Zen. Very, very tempted. And I think I remember at least one Hatracker posting to ask about mp3 players under $100.
But then...then, I saw the 30gig Philips I've been pining over. And it was on ultra sale, as well.
I am so entertained by it already, and I haven't even listened to music yet.
I also saw my last mp3 player on sale for under $100. Which is definitely much less than I paid for it. But it survived being run over by a bike, so it was worth my money.
But my 1 gig Creative nano still works fine and I can fit 10 cds worth of music on it, and change the mix as often as I like. I don't need one. But I want one! Posts: 6246 | Registered: Aug 2004
