I consider soup a seasonal food. I only buy/make it during the cold months. So, I usually start buying soup sometime in November, and quit buying it in March or April.

But for the summer...the local farmers market is about to start up!

I had some lovely artichokes and strawberries last month. Not the same anymore, even though they're still in stores. Really have to eat them in May.
