How useful can Hawkeye possibly be? Robin hood with explosive arrowheads against interstellar fighter craft? Even if his timing was insane, what is he using? Armor piercing nuclear tipped arrows?

It seems pretty common for a team to have a few "heavy hitters" at the same time as a "badass normal" or two.

Usually I think they just have threats of various magnitude going on at the same time. Maybe Iron Man and Thor have to fight the ships while Hulk fights some massive land vehicle. Then Hawkeye and Black Widow have to stop the dozen or so aliens that exit their vehicles and attempt to reach the MacGuffin on foot. These are conveniently vulnerable to arrows and bullets, of course.

Um, guys. This is the Marvel comics universe. Squirrel Girl has defeated, among others; Dr. Doom, Mandarin, Fin Fang Foom, Baron Mordo, Thanos and Pluto.

That's because Squirrel Girl is awesome, though. [ROFL]

But if they were useful in the Marvel Universe, the military might actually be capable of doing something. From what the trailer shows, none of them seem to be doing much of anything except dying.

And I agree. She is probably there just for the male viewers to have something to look at.

The Punisher gets by with bullets. Marvel is effectively bullshit. And awesome.

Also, Loki's army won't be the only bad guy. Either way, she'll have something relevant to do.

She gets Bruce Banner to come out of the refrigerator box he's living in, apparently.
