Oh man, that's brilliant. I love that they're rapping about infantry tactics while showing them obliquely in the background. Like when Shaka talks about being "gored by the horns of the Zulu", they show his "bull horn" formation deploying - two flanks of fast-moving shock troops whose job it was to rapidly encircle the enemy before their commander had a chance to adjust. (As the British later learned when a heavily armed regiment with gatling guns, semi-automatic rifles, and artillery pieces but still fighting with Napoleonic Wars-era tactics got almost totally annihilated by a bunch of naked "savages" with frikking wooden spears and cow-hide shields)
I became a really big fan on Shaka Zulu after learning more about his military campaigns in infantry school when I was in the Marines, and realizing how much of our advanced infantry tactics and training techniques were either invented or inspired by him. (Or imitated and adapted by British officers who fought his descendants) He is, IMO, one of the greatest tacticians of all time, and a pretty spectacular example of how discipline, training, and effective small unit tactics and leadership can give a huge advantage, even against technologically superior enemies. I think if he had been born a couple hundred years earlier, then we would talk about the Zulu Empire in school as one of the great civilizations of the world rather than just another British conquest.

Were you alive at any point in history after the American Declaration of Independence was signed?
