Hi,
I'm looking for a reader or two for this flash piece--916 words. Here are the first thirteen:

People say that when you die a bright light opens up, like at the end of a tunnel. The deceased are supposed to walk towards it, or maybe someone they know who has already passed is there, waiting to guide them into the light.

Well, none of that happened to me. There was no light, no loved one, not the voice of God, not even an angel.
I’ve been dead five days and have no idea how to move on—how to leave this planet and go somewhere else. I’m stuck here, following my corpse wherever it goes because I don’t know what else to do.

At the morgue, I watched them paint my face, trying to cover the scars of my addiction. My family doesn’t want anyone to know, but let’s be real. Those scars were the physical manifestations

(Also, the "I'm at the cemetary now" line is the start of the next paragraph. I had room in the thirteenth line to stick it in so you'd get a clearer picture about where the story was heading.)
