A long time ago, we did the on-line survey that answers which SF author you are. This one tells you which SF/F character you are. www.tk421.net/character/
quote:Yoda.
A venerated sage with vast power and knowledge, you gently guide forces around you while serving as a champion of the light.
Go figure.

I'm Jean-Luc Picard. "An accomplished diplomat who can virtually do no wrong, you sometimes know it is best to rely on the council of others while holding the reins"... oh dear.

That was tough. Some of those questions needed another answer. And I'm afraid I'm one of those people who weaves back and forth between logic and feelings. When I answered the more logical way, I was Galdriel. When I went the more emotional way, I was Delenn. Personally, I'd rather be like Delenn so I'll claim that one. Gifted and studious, you willingly approach the perils ahead with the help of your talents and friends.
(dubiously) Say what?
This is kind of irritating, because I've been told I look like the lightning-scarred wizard since the first film came out. 9 years older, of course, but still.

I went back and changed a few things that I was kind of on the fence about, and got...
quote:Severus Snape
An enigmatic recluse with a mysterious past and even stranger loyalties, you are an intensely serious presence.
I don't expect you will really understand the beauty of the softly simmering cauldron with its shimmering fumes, the delicate power of liquids that creep through human veins, bewitching the mind, ensnaring the senses...
Mwa-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!
(Note: I wouldn't have liked this answer so much if Alan Rickman hadn't done such a good job portraying him in the films. That guy rocks! You ever watch Dogma? Awesome )

For pete's sake. I still can't get this to work. All I get is 'Internal Server Error' after I put in my answers. Sheesh.

Yeah, but what? It crossed my mind that maybe my answer combination doesn't jive with any of their pre-programmed responses.

<giggle> D’ya think? That doesn’t bode well – fifty-six years and no personality to speak of. Maybe it all drained into the characters I’ve written. Yeah. That’s it. In fact, that could be a story. The more I write, the less I become. That could even justify my procrastination. Cool.

Another Yoda here. which fits pretty well since my philophosy on life is, "Speak softly and carry a big stick."
