Okay, I posted my Hatrack circle on G+ and sent it out only to everyone in that Hatrack circle. If you've got me on G+, you should see that in your stream and then you can pick up any Hatrackers you don't already have.

I was too busy to join when this first came up, but I'm putting in my 2-week notice at work very soon and am hopeful to have more time toward writing. Anyone care to give me an invite?
However, before anyone does invite me, I have a few questions: - Do invites come through e-mail or Facebook? - I'm still a little confused about the process. - Are you just writing new stuff and sharing, working on WIPs, brainstorming, discussing writing in general, etc? - Do we all pop-up on the screen à la The Brady Bunch?
I suppose this would give me a reason to get out of my PJ's, comb my hair, and straighten up a little around my writing area. Posts: 2003 | Registered: Jul 2008

I've sent you an invite philo, but I don't think you actually need one anymore. But I presume if you follow mine, you can then find me easily and then my posts, specifically the one I just did about finding everyone else. Hopefully that will all be clear once you get there.
The invite comes through e-mail.
Often, it's just some chatting and filling each other in on interesting stuff. We haven't really been doing the hangouts much, though we did a couple. Anyone is welcome to start them. I was having technical problems with the webcam I bought and just haven't gotten back to trying to fix it.
And yes, the hangout this is a little Brady Bunch-esque. The big image in the middle shifts from person to person without us being able to control it, though it seems too try to focus on who's speaking. It would be great if we tried to start up hangouts again.
I'm making a list of Google+ usernames with corresponding Hatrack usernames so I can keep track of people.
But there are several in my Hatrack circle on Google+ whom I still haven't identified by their Hatrack username, not to mention the several who have added me and whom I don't have a Hatrack username for either.
I can post the list here (or there, or both) if it would be helpful (and if people don't mind the information being made public), once I have everyone sorted out.

That would be great, Kathleen. Please share.
I'm utilizing Google+ only for networking with fellow wits (writers-in-training-superstars). It would be helpful to have a match with fellow Hatrackers' usernames so I know who to add to my circle.
Respectfully, Dr. Bob (Robert Finegold on G+)

<goes off, fights with google> I'm not sure if I show up as "Reziac" or as "Rez Zircon". It seems to have both listed for that account. I found KDW but that's as far as I got.
I see the quoteback function is now enabled on the forum, hooray!

I started adding some people where there were many others from Hatrack with common ties. However, I realized after several adds, that a few of them were professional writers, agents, etc. who I have never communicated with.
Now, some of these were still participants here when I joined Hatrack, so I am going to leave them in my Hatrack circle, even though they've mostly moved on.
How are you guys typically organizing your circles? Could I just move these other people to a separate circle or should I just leave them? Can people tell when you do this and would that be offensive?
Social networking can be so stressful...

No one can tell what cirle you have them in or when you've moved them. I don't think they even know if you've removed them completely. I do believe they get notification when you first put them in your circles, but that's it.
Also, I have my circles organized by where I know people from. Do what works for you. Your organizational system is completely private.

Corin224, I don't use this email address for Google+, so I'll add you next time I'm there. Please don't worry when I ignore your invitation to me on this email address, okay?
