Mine's still in. I'm not sure the ending will work for this market, though. I fully expect a late-round rejection.

Got mine, too. Hopefully I can finish something new for this quarter so I don't have to keep dipping into the trunk of stories that aren't right for WotF.

After a tremendous buildup of anticipation, I landed an HM.
Which I'm not disappointed about. (OK, I was for a little while because I thought... maybe... but I'm cool now.)

I'd sent this story in twice previously to two rejections. I was determined to work it until Dave read it through to the end, which he now has done.

So for me, personal accomplishment.

I really hope it finds a home somewhere, someday. But it's 11k, so I'm not so sure.
