I'm a freelance writer/director and recently a friend's comedy group asked me to direct two of their web sketches on a super-low budget. Unfortunately, I didn't get any say in the writing, but I think they both turned out pretty well.

Also, the latter sketch features Lauren Lapkus who has a regular role on NBC's new sit-com "Are You There, Vodka? It's me, Chelsea" which is airing this year.

Let me know what you think and please share if you like them!

The first one looks like a commericial for nintendo. The second one was just plain odd.

I did like how they were shot, so an A for your part.

The first was quite funny but the second was hilarious. It reminded me of the over the top violence in Scary Movie (which, oddly enough, I watched last night).

I especially liked the manic looking blonde girl with the big eyes, scraping her knives together.

Well done mate, they were good.

The directing was fine; I didn't think about it while watching, which is a good sign. However, I'd rather not have watched either film. To me, they are too disturbing to be funny.
