I am so high, I can hear heaven. I am so high, I can hear heaven. Oh but heaven, no heaven don't hear me. And they say that a hero could save us. I'm not going to stand here and wait. I'll hold onto the wings of the eagles. Watch as they all fly away.

Ten years later heroes change and heroes are all gone Like the dead grass on a winter's front lawn They could make you laugh and they could make you cry But when their candle dims, it's time for them to die.

Dead, I am the one, exterminate and some. Flippin' through the trees, stranglin' the breeze. Dead, I am the sky, watching angles cry. While they slowly think, I'm gona wring the worm. Dig through the ditches. And burn all the witches. And slammed in the back of my dragula.

One night thunder cracked, mercy backed outside her windowsill. Dreamed I was flying high above the trees, over the hills. Looked down into the house of Mary Terrible thoughts, newspaper-covered walls, and Mary rising above it all.

You can look, but you can't touch. I don't think I like you much. Heaven know's what a girl can do. Heaven know's what you got to prove. I think I'm paranoid, and complicated. I think I'm paranoid, manipulated.

Day after day, alone on the hill, the man with the foolish grin is keeping perfectly still. But nobody wants to know him. They can see that he's just a fool. And he never gives an answer...

Ah Deborah do you recall? Your house was very small with wood-chip on the wall. When I came around to call you didn't notice me at all. I said "Let's all meet up in the year two thousand. Won't it be strange when we're all fully grown? Be there at 2 o'clock by the fountain down the road". I never knew that you'd get married. I would be living down here on my own on that damp and lonely Thursday years ago.
