I'm so glad someone revived this thread. I just love this thread. This is the little thread that could. <laughs> The strangely obsessively addictive thread. I read through about 10,000 names off baby name and pet name websites to try and come up with Shakespeare. And wow it was worth it! [Smile] I feel so very accomplished for guessing it, I really do! [Big Grin]

Okay, what do we have outstanding? I will try to guess some more tomorrow night. Right now I have to go to sleep.

Hmm, my first thought was Coffee&Cream, but that doesn't have enough letters. Cinnamon&Cream has too many letters -- and it's not the most common combination.

Coconut&Cream?

Wait, wait, wait! Black & white -- COOKIES&Cream!

So, to recap, the only ones we're missing at this point are:

tt&t's male German Shepard R***in'

Raia's female dog T*******

Dan Raven's male dog, a Chow-Chow, named R****

New guesses:

ttat: I was sure it was Rollin'! Hmmmm. Robbin'?

Dan Raven: Rusty?

I've only had one other dog besides Bootsie. When I was very young, my family had a Boxer I reportedly adored. There's a photo of this Boxer and I sharing a popsicle. I'm licking one side and P***** is licking the other. I barely remember P***** so I don't even know for sure if the dog was male or female. I think male but I'm not sure. The name doesn't really tell you which, but was obviously a play on his breed. We didn't have him long. He kept jumping the fence and bothering the neighbors so we ended up giving him back to the veterinarian we got him from. I was about 3 at the time.

Well, I have five dogs. However, of course, you already know My Favorite because Frisco has had such a good laugh over that one. Bet you wouldn't have been able to guess his name on here, though, if I hadn't already told you there.

We also have a chihauhau, a german-shepherd mix, an australian shepherd mix, and one mutt that looks a lot like Benji (of the movies). But I won't make you guess all those names...

Rolfin'?

My first dog was a wiener girl, chocolate brown, named K******. Her brother was a boy named B*******. Hers is relatively easy, but his should be a stumper. I'll write a sonnet for whomever can guess it.

ak, spot on with Katrina. Spot on, first guess. *impressed

"Bologna" is too short -- it's actually eight letters long.

Hints:

1. He was a constant companion.

My money's on aka's Roamin' (Roman).

Yep, for real. My mom had an odd sense of humor, and I'm still getting some of her jokes just now.
Bird in Space represents a wiener dog reaching up for a tidbit very well.

I don't have time to make a contribution in form of a guess right now, but I'll start another quest: my grandparents had a dog (female) who's name was:

L****

Hints to follow.
