Tired, JB. Couldn't sleep last night. I can't get freaking xwindows to load so I struggled with that for a while last night. I think I'm just going to be lazy and buy a recent version of Linux rather than try and figure out what rpms to extract and recompile and whatnot.
Also! Getting car worked on. Will be good to have more reliable transportation.
Thanks for asking!
Everything o.k. in your neck of the woods?

Ayelar, you know what? I find people who find satisfaction in mundane jobs frightening. "I love my job as paper pusher #654!"
Being unhappy at a crappy job is a sign of excellent mental health. It means you will go far because you don't 'settle'.

Well, I am OK, except I tore a muscle Saunday in my shoulder. Ouch. Taking the kids ( plus the neighbors 13 yo) to the Science Center today. They have a Space exhibit going on.
Hoy is everyone else?

Yeah, everything's pretty much okay for me, too. I need to get my car worked on, and I have a couple of papers to write, but that's really about the worst of it. I'm currently cleaning up a manuscript written by a blind guy. It's a rather interesting experience.

Stormy! Thanks for asking. I slept well for the first time in weeks. After staying up 'til 3:30 the night before, and then struggling through 4 hours of teaching, I was deadly exhausted...

From what I've read, I get the impression that the author wasn't always blind. It seems like he was simply touch-typing on a regular keyboard.

Thanks, Storm. That made me smile.
And don't worry, people, I'm not a doctor. I fix powerpoint presentations and move tables around. Yesterday I changed the time on all the clocks in the building.

I got a donut today for editing something for another department. What a nice surprise! Also, though I slept terribly, I woke feeling pretty good. I'm editing a beginning German course at the moment, and it's kinda fun.
And I'm married to Jon Boy. That makes me happy. Overall, doing well. Thanks for asking.

Nobody gives me donuts for editing stuff . . .
Sweetie, I won't be able to make it to lunch today. I have to go work on my Beowulf translation thingy.

Stormy, the temptation to wink and coyly tell you I would say but it would offend Papa Moose is almost overwealming.

So aren't we glad that RoboHelp is software for building Help files?
Kat, I really do appreciate that you steered me in that direction...it's going to make me look very impressive to my boss.
