Come on guys, just ignore them. They'll get bored and leave.
It's hard, I know. Just about time w2w posts I write a post attacking him. But I usually decide not to post it because I don't want to encourage the kid.

Wouldn't it be just as much fun to open an Instant messenger window with yourself and type back and forth. Honestly, how many usernames do you really need? Nobody's fooled.

To be honest with you, I love his posts. I do . I am a Want2Write fan. For my money, I don’t think it gets any better than when he posts like Looney Tunes, Britney Spears, Tom & Jerry, indecency, any ethnic, porn, and some other stuff being blamed for harming children and/or others (unless porn can be very harmful).Posts: 1034 | Registered: Mar 2004

Incidentally, I am none of the w2w derivatives. I am trying to get 1000 posts as soon as possible before our baby is born and for other reasons I will mention then. I will have no other identity until I achieve that goal. I have much more fun talking to myself as myself like on the 24 thread.
I think it is possible that w2w is much more clever then his/her posts suggest. I would love to know the identities of the other w2w derivatives, as I find it a little funny

no, I don't. I am just confused by all these people making names played off w2w's name. You? As far as I knew, you had not posted when I was writing mine.

What's with the w2w derivatives? If you're going to insult another Hatracker, at least don't hide behind a different screenname when you're doing it.

Alexa, I would really appreciate it if you didn't bump all of w2w's threads. They're a waste of space on the first page, and REALLY annoying.

Thanks! I really appreciate it. One or two here are there aren't bad, but a block of 8 or 10 at once... it makes me dizzy.... *swoon*

Hatrack is good. Very few trolls, if really any. "Ain't it cool news" forum posters, however, are nothing BUT trolls...

This reminds me of several years ago when everyone was posting on the young writers forum. Then some troll came in and everyone got really mad and OSC shut it down. I don't know why but I really laugh when terrible conflict comes up. It must be a character flaw. Anyway, this just reminded me of the entire fiasco.

At this point, Stroman is making an effort to communicate politely, I think. So, I don't think it's fair to insinuate that he is a troll.

He's playing nice because some people here are gracious enough to take him seriously after his arrogant, in-your-face fanatic entrance.
If we went back to giving him the same sort of responses we'd give Lalo or Ron for pulling that crap (i.e. ), he'd be back to the name calling, partisian BS, I predict.

Of course, it's worth noting that the same could be said of any number of newbies who went on to become highly valued members of the forum.

This is, indeed, how several regulars entered Hatrack. Chad fits a certain profile, and it's my hope that he'll tone it down a bit in order to become a valuable member.

He could almost be doing this for the good of the community. Things have been tense and divided and then in walks a complete and utter dickhead. Everyone can agree to dislike this prick and in doing so can finally agree on something.
CStroman saved Hatrack!
But he's still a wanker.

quote: On the Internet, troll is a slang term used to describe:
1. A post (on a newsgroup, or other forum) that is solely intended to incite controversy or conflict or cause annoyance or offense. (Many posts may inadvertently cause strife as collateral damage, but they are not trolls.) 2. A person who posts these.

No, see, wanker is my official word for pompous people who wander willy nilly through threads talking at people as opposed to with them.
I'm so misunderstood.
*le sigh*
Oh, and you're a nincompoop. (After my vitriolic first post I'm pretty sure you've come to expect it from every post, right? And, well, I both hate to disappoint and love my work)

I also find it more painful when somebody who apparently agrees with me goes trolling than when somebody who I disagree with does so.
