Which is such a sappy thing to say. However . . .
Yesterday, while googling various things related to wedding planning, I ran across a headpiece that perfectly matches the beadwork/embroidery on the front of my wedding dress. Yay! But it’s on e-bay. I’ve never registered for e-bay, and I’m not sure I want to. But wait! Bob has. So I called him.
“Hi honey, how’d you like to buy your bride a tiara?”
After he stopped laughing (which didn’t take more than five or ten minutes) he bought it using the ‘buy it now’ feature, so it’s speeding its way to Texas as we speak.
Bob:
(Hey, if I'm gonna be sappy, might as well go all out! me)

When and where is the wedding? And is it open to crashers?
And heh, a tiara. Very Legolas. Now all Bob needs to do is grow stubble and complain about not being king, and we'll have the wedding those slash writers have been dreaming of all these years...

Bob already has a very sexy stubbly beard, thank you very much. Now that I have pictures of him I can finally take down the August of 2002 LotR calendar that has been gracing my kitchen wall since, well, August of 2002.

I think that is a very good picture of you and the dress. I like it, it is simple but elagant, not over the top as some dresses are all too often.
I also think the headpeice is beautiful. I'm sure you will look stunning.
Now I feel bad I won't get to see you in it.....there is no way we could make it to Iowa. But you will be in our thoughts that day, for sure. What is the actual date again?

Beautiful dress! You're definitely going to be a beautiful bride.
I never get to read each and every topic posted. I missed the topic on how you and Bob got together. I know everyone e-mails and chats with each other here, but that couldn't have been the only communication going on regarding you and Bob. I know there's a topic on here somewhere regarding that, I may have even posted on it. I'm still fuzzy. Can you post the link?

I've been meaning to post on this topic for several days but all my replies seemed smarmy or presumptious. Oh well I'm gonna let it all hang out anyway. I would think that YOU make him feel like a KING.
I feel privileged that I am able to witness your love for one another. It is wonderful and life affirming and somehow also makes me feel special. Hopefully this vicarious feeling isn't indicative of some deep problem.

Feel like a king? I was going for Galactic Emperor, but I guess King will do. I just have to say, however, that I may not be able to put the proper name to the feeling, but it's the best feeling I've ever had.
Dana may not want me to post the poem that shows how I REALLY feel, so you'll have to ask her if she wants to share it with the world...
But seeing as how she gave in on the beautiful picture, I bet she lets me post that too.
