In doing a search to disprove your comment, Tom, I discovered two things. One, you were right. (I hate that, being, you know, egomaniacal) Two, many many people have used the reference as parts of sermons, business plans, and all sorts of other instances.

You know, I can only think of one word that sounds like "scanty" and, while it does have positive connotations for me, I don't think that's the one you were thinking of, Toni.

And may I just say that it warms the cockles of my egomaniacal heart every time that someone mentions that day? Or maybe the sub-cockle area.

I am highly offended that no one has yet mentioned my name on this thread. I think I have displayed as much ego and narcisism on this forum as anyone else and I'm appalled at the lack of recognition I get around here.

Rabbit, I mentioned you in a clump, when i told Ralphie she was just pretending to know about the Reese's commercial because she wanted to be like us ol 'uns. Can there be group egomania? Or would it be EGImania?

I am every thread's annoying uncle, so I'm not surprised that I haven't been mentioned in here.
