I'm O+.

I'm about as close to carnivorous as a human can get, though I also like grain and potato products. I like a few kinds of veggies--corn, carrots--but not enough to go out of my way to get them. Anything green makes me ill (not literally). Most sugary foods are not to my taste, though I like ice cream, some fruit flavored candies, and especially chocolate.

Mabus, funny you should mention anything green making you ill (well, it's only figuratively in your case...). I have an uncle who can't eat unripe fruit, it makes him sick. He also gets toothaches from touching leather (?!?), they're not related, but they're both pretty weird allergies...

O-, I believe.

MEEEEEEAAAATTTTT!!!!! Also vegetables. Some bread, but mostly when I can't find meat or when I need something filling. Veggies are rarely filling, meat sometimes isn't. I like rice best, but my eating habits are sparse and weird. When I can get it, I eat meat so much that it sometimes hurts my digestion.

Oh, I forgot to mention seafood. I absolutely love seafood. If it lived in the water, I'll eat it. I love Japanese sushi-type seaweed enough to eat it by itself, and I can't get enough calamari or dried cuttlefish. I've yet to encounter a food fish that I don't like, and even though I never eat land bugs of any kind, I will always eat a sea bug. (By 'sea bug', I mean lobster, shrimp, etc. You did know that those are basically just bugs, right?)

1. O pos

2. I'm a really picky eater, though I will eat most desserts. [Wink] I love to eat pasta, lots and lots of pasta. Raw meat grosses me out, and I'm really picky about the meat I'll eat. It has to be cooked just right; if I don't think it's cooked enough, I can't eat it (same for eggs). I mostly like chicken, ground beef, and corned beef. I also like cheese, goldfish, and my favorite veggie is brocoli. I don't like oriental or seafood, either.

A Positive

There aren't many foods that I DON'T like -- I eat most foods. I have to watch or I will go overboard on the carbs (carb-craving) and I have low blood sugar..

(I guess I really didn't fully answer the question of the original post. I consider myself omnivorous -- pretty balanced. I love vegies & fruits, but like most meat too. I love fish, but NOT seafood (like shrimp, lobster, etc.) And I like ice cream way too much.)

O+, I think.

I'm hypoglycemic, so a surfeit of sugar is bad for me. I love meat and potatoes. I love vegetables. I adore seafood (it's very Sensual!). I like food in general, which is good because according to my doctor, I should eat every 4 hours.

I have read theories that it's best to eat according to your ancestry - for instance, if your ancestors came from a place where fish were a staple, then you will benefit from eating a lot of fish. If they came from a place where dairy was not eaten, you might want to avoid dairy products. I wonder about the validity of this idea.

Jenny, there are some cases where that's true--mostly involving food intolerances. For instance, people who are lactose tolerant tend to have ancestors from Northern Europe (and possibly other areas where food is scarce--I'm not sure), where milk was a needed food source and getting ill from dairy products made it more difficult to survive. Aside from those, I'm not sure the theory is legit.
