Two days ago, she managed to steal, and mostly consume, a peanut butter M&M. I was not pleased. Her grandma feeds her candy, her abba feeds her cake, and she expects me to give her cookies after lunch...

Happy Birthday! (I don't know you, I'm sorry to say ) I say she should get two cakes and some ice cream. But all three things have to be ketchup flavored. OR she could have just one cake, that is a normal flavor.

I am having a good birthday. We went for a walk and saw duckies and a neighbor. Then I came in and had my birthday lunch. Now I am listening to one of my favorite albums ( Not For Kids Only ). Did you feed the ducks bread? I loved doing that when I was young. You have to be careful though because sometimes they bite. White bread is the best type to use. Its guarenteed fun. If the ducks are in a park, a picnic in the park is fun. And then either before/after the meal you can feed the ducks. (I think we need a rubber ducky emoticon.....no reason really...)

The ducks are behind our complex; we have a pond. And she's not quite got the concept of feeding the food to the ducks yet; she tries to eat it herself. So we save all the Cheerios and pieces of bread and cookie halves and such that she throws on the floor, and when they fill up the little bowl on the counter that we put them in, we take them down with us and feed them to the ducks while Emma watches and claps and laughs from her stroller. Yes, we haven't recieved it yet, but her grandpa got her a family membership to the zoo, and we live two blocks from the train station, and the train stops right across from the zoo entrance, so I'm sure we'll be going often very soon. She loves animals.

That is a good thing. I knew someone who let their daughter be terrified of every animal in existence. She screamed everytime they left the house. The zoo is a great place to go, you'll just have to schedule accordingly (You might want to make sure it isn't "mating season."). Otherwise zoos are great places.
