I really don't think that annulments should be just handed out to anyone who was plain stupid and got into a marriage. If there is some reason beyond stupidity ok, but just because they don't want to be married anymore. Crazy. I get so frustrated that people see marriage as so temporary. I know that the real world is vastly different than celebrity world but it seems like those values eventually creep down to the rest of the population and make these things seem acceptable to them too.

You know what always bothered me? When Rachel and Ross got married on Friends and couldn't get an annulment and had to get divorced. If they had just told the truth-- "We were drunk our of our minds and didn't even remember we'd gotten married until the next day"-- they would have been given a short lecture and granted an annulment. It was so stupid!
