Let's talk about n00bs, spelling, hugs, and just being too . . . darn . . . nice!
Let's collect all the snippy little comments in one place, one board, one thread, so it's easier to remember all the reasons Hatrack has gone downhill!
This will be a great way for me to work through the absolutely awful mood I'm in today!

Megachirops, I hope you won't take it too bad, but if you don't like this place any more, why do you stay and post ? Anyway, this is for you Because I hope you just said that in a bad moment.

Hatrack sucks because...because...yeah! It sucks because it is in english! Damn American Imprerialists, forcing us, third-world citizens to comply with their language!

English is cool. I love speaking English, it helps in many ways, and my English is partly due to Hatrack. Thank you everyone !

Sorry, Megachirops. I usually HAVE a sense of humour. But I'm sick, sad and tired, so it's not here when I need it. Sorry if I've been a little offensive, I didn't mean to. (will go and try to sleep. Maybe.)

Hatrack sucks because it allowed me to meet all sorts of cool people I'll never be able to just go hang out with.

Posters who mostly lurk that go MIA for awhile then come back demanding aknowledgement. Hate that.

Newbies and their stupid threads that die before they even start and... well, hmm, I guess I'm what I hate about Hatrack. Crap! I suck!

You know what I hate... When people stop posting for a really long time, just because they're avoiding a landmark. That sucks.

Yeah, I'll agree with you there. Makes no sense. Post count doesn't really mean anything anyway, so why let some arbitrary number keep you from posting?
I generally find it irritating when people have myriad usernames. I've had a couple over the years, and just the other day created a throw away sign in for a specific joke, so maybe I'm a hypocrite, but what can you do?

You know what I hate about Hatrack? All of those darn Wiccans hanging around here! They're always getting under my feet! Why don't they go ride their broomstick somewhere else?!

You know, I thought this thread would be a good way for me to work out my non-Hatrack-related frustrations, but it hasn't done anything for me. Still frustrated. Man, you guys suck.

I had no idea Megachirops was an overconfident cheerleader!
I hate how fast the board changes. You lurk, post a bit, disappear and a lot of new people are there.
Oh yeah, and all the people who don't take the time to spell their words correctly, especially words like grammar and devastate (sometimes spelled "devistate" - I hate that! I just wanna reach into the 'puter and scramble its guts for showing me that!).
Oh, and I hate how you sometimes post funny, sarcastic stuff and people take it seriously, getting all huffy (better than being Schwinn, I guess).
I think the lengths of the political/homosexual/religious threads are nice reminders of how different we are in terms of ignorance, viewpoints, and stubbornness.
