No, it hasn't forgotten the words.

Researchers claim that winter storms cause high waves which interact to form longer waves, which reach the seafloor and beat it like a drum. In musical terms, the sound would be about 16 octaves below middle C.

It surprises me that storms can reach through deep ocean and cause seismic events.

What the heck are "infragravity waves", that's new to me.

Dang! That would have been my guess!

Actually, I kinda knew the answer since I saw one of the articles about it. But I realized I don't understand this at all, not really a physics kind of orientation here.
