We played this for a very long time, but it's been a while, so I thought we could start it again.

Here's how it works:
I post a few lines or a verse from a song -- DO NOT post the whole song, as that amounts to copyright infringement. You post some lyrics from another song that contains a functional* word or phrase from my lyrics, putting the linkword in bold. And so on.
*Linkwords like "river" and "strawberry" are good; linkwords like "this" and "you" aren't.

Okay, here goes:

"I saw my baby wearing Santa's beard
She kissed him once and whispered in his ear."
- They Might Be Giants

Well, rather than waking up and doing some good I think I'll just play this game for a little while longer!

Whenever I want you, all I have to do is
Drea-ea-ea-ea-eam, dream, dream, dream

-"All I Have to Do Is Dream," Everly Bros.

(what is it w/ Everly Brothers and me today? Of course this song always makes me think of the parody, "Scree-ea-ea-ea-eam, scream scream scream")
