Well you wondeful Hatrack peoples. This ia a plea from me, on behalf of our wonderful mackillian.
Jamie is a wonderful person. She's cute, funny, smart, and all around cool. And she fences awesome! Definitely a great person to have as a daughter.

I will vouch for her, she WILL make a good kid.
See I would share my mommy with her, but she already doesn't have time to be my mommy let alone Jamie's too. So I guess maybe I am looking for one too. But this thread is for Mack.
She needs someone who will tell her to stay in bed when she's sick, to tell her when to be nice, when she's heading for trouble, you know, the Mom thing.
So step up Jatraquera's, who will be Jamie's mommy?
PS, Nathan is a sucker for kids. Seriously. I'd be the worst parent ever only because at the first sight of a tear, I'd give in to their every want.

She neglects to mention that the pain does not respond to her prescription anti-inflammatory, has been going on for days now -- four, I think?, and is pretty extreme.
The girl who RUNS up mountains estimated the pain at 6-7 on a 10-point scale.

According to the flow charts in the AMA's Family Medical Guide, headache + nausea + eye pain (which you haven't mentioned, but I didn't ask about) = "Call your physician now!" because it indicates raised pressure in the eye; headache + nausea + increased pain with bending neck + drowsiness = "EMERGENCY! GET HELP NOW!" Possible causes: brain hemorrhage, meningitis (apparently possible even WITHOUT a fever); and if this has been going on for several days (and is not a result of alcohol), may indicate dangerously high blood pressure or (rarely) a brain tumor.

Don't have a tumor, jamie. Getting it cut out would mess up your 'highspeed' hairdo.
I'm TRYING to mom you, but you keep wiggling out of the sack I put you in for safekeeping! *mutters*
On another, unrelated note: I'm moving! Apparently, there is a flood in our shared crawlspace. Oh, how delicious is the verification that I was Right All Along! Yes, there IS mold in my drywall! I've been telling them that for 2 1/2 YEARS! *mutters* Stupid Army. So, I don't know where we are going, but we are still going to be on West Point, and maybe now we will have a Guest Bedroom for you to stay in! (A room of your Very Own!) Now you can REALLY be our Nanny! VBG

mack, have you thought about a deep tissue massage (aka trigger point release massage)? You might have some hot trigger points that are causing all the problems. Try it, you'll like it.

My mom has this wretched book. Trust me, it's not a good thing to have in the home of a hypochondriac child. Once, I discovered I had congestive heart failure and stayed awake all night crying and waiting to die. Another time, I had the flesh eating disease and I had to force myself not to look at it for an hour to see if it would grow an inch.
Just about every path in the flow charts ends with "SEEK EMERGENCY MEDICAL HELP NOW! What you're experiencing is probably just a hangnail but THERE'S A CHANCE IT'S AN ACUTE CASE OF POLYARTERITIS NODOSA AND YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM HAS FAILED, AND WILL BE FOLLOWED SOON BY ALL OF YOUR VITAL SYSTEMS IF YOU DON'T GET ON A DIFRIBULATOR IN 15 MINUTES OR LESS!"
