Hey all,

This is from an interview with Wolfgang Petersen. The words out of his own mouth. Not much for news, but at least they are still cranking away at things.

quote:
We are still working on Ender's Game. It's a very, very tricky adaptation, and not easy, but a fascinating concept. I think, at some point I will do Ender's Game. I just had a meeting with Orson Scott Card, and we are hanging in there. We are hanging in there and we will do that.
Not much of an eloquent speaker, but there ya go.

What date was the interview?

When did I become a skeptic?

Here's one dated 9/21/07

Reading it in full, you see that there is no promise, and just like so many other deserving storys that will never be told to the masses, I'll believe what I see previews of at the theater.

I have a feeling Ender's Game in theaters is going to amount to a blank screen and audience participation that would put RHPS to shame.

Kaplan. Kaplan. Kaplan.

Sorry, I couldn't finish the sentences, but that is the most brilliant idea that I have ever heard.
