I have a bag of popcorn sitting on my table. When I say bag, I mean garbage bag sized. Mmmmmm, I love popcorn.

I finally got Matthew Good Band's "The Fine Art of Falling Apart" to download. I've been trying to get that song for weeks. Yay!
I also found a German band called "die toten Hosen," which directly translated means "the dead pants," but idiomatically means something like "the party-poopers." As this has always been one of my favorite German idioms, I'm very happy about this. (Their music is good, too.)

I'm curious too...Not unless you live in a ghost town, then I can understand why.
I'm watching the "13 creepiest places on earth" that's about 2 years old. I've been through minor phenomena already and I'm still not freaked out. This is just some creepy mythical stuff..::cringes::

I got so used to hearing the unbelievably obnoxious Natalie Cole mix on the intercom at Barnes and Noble, and now they pull a fast one on me and sneak the Halloween mix right in there when I'm least expecting it. Scared the BEJEEZUS out of me. How would you like to be straightening gift cards and all of a sudden hear the theme to Psycho? that's what i thought...
Also, Hocus Pocus? Quite possibly the best Halloween movie ever made.

*snort* Hocus Pocus was.... weird. It definately fits halloween, and I do admit to having watched it 6 bajillion times as a kid, but it is still weird.

What's everyone's costume? I'm going to be a beautiful (hopefully) princess. I realize it lacks imagination. But the only reason I'm going this year is because the my best friends french exchange student really wants to go.

One of Hatrack's main values is its destruction of age segregation. Where else are 15 year olds comfortable speaking to 38 year olds who are talking to 64 year olds?

Ed is not on tonight. I am very disappointed. That's just about all I look forward to on Wednesdays. It makes the middle of the week so much more bearable! But, nope, it's not on tonight.

Why, when I search for this thread, did it have the thread title, and then in the name column have carrie? Shouldn't have been T simth, or at least Tammy since she was the first one to post? Posts: 4655 | Registered: Jan 2002
