I secretly envy those who don't post much, suspecting they have actual lives. I have aspirations to get a life, too, someday, but am afraid it will never happen, or that if it does I won't be able to cut it. [Smile]

I have actually spit beverage on my computer screen, laughing at what was written.

I have a crush on Strongbad. I love his little round body...and the way he corrects grammar. (My fiance knows and has forgiven me in advance)

Once I did actually roll on the floor from something someone posted.

I dont remember what was posted, and I'm not certain who posted it. I think it was Toni though.

And for an actual confession, (i just posted this in another thread)

My actual positions on hard issues are NEVER as black and white as I puport them here. In fact, often, the positions I defend here bear no resemblance to my own.

one: I hate Bob Dylan.

two: I always feel like I should re-introduce myself every time I post, because I'm really just a lurker.

three: I have always thought "Myslef" would be a good name for a character in a fantasy novel.

[Big Grin] That's a good one, beverly.

Let's see...what shall I confess to today?

Here's a good one. I like (not liked--still do) *NSYNC. I went to their Pop Odyssey concert, and I have the DVD (it was a gift mind you). I have all three CDs, and I'm a loser.

With the exception of a smile ( [Smile] ) and a sad-frown ( [Frown] ), I have never done any of the actions that the smilies I've used would seem to imply.

I have a Dad that liked Milli Vanilli even after they were found to be fake. (Though that's really a problem with my dad, I thought it would work here, simply by relation).

I don't know how much I weigh.

During the county spelling bee in 5th grade (I won the school one), I misspelled the word "tension".
"(releif sigh) T-E-N-T-I----wait, no! (Heavy sigh) (mumbled:) O-N."
"Can you please repeat that?"
And I was HONEST the second time, and misspelled it again. Stupid, stupid morals.

E.R. and most other critically-acclaimed dramas bore me to tears.

I like rap. This includes Eminem, Vanilla Ice, Run DMC, Outkast, Will Smith, and more.

If I had a digital camera, I would likely post somebody else on Foobonic.

Homosexual debate threads irritate me.

In 7th and 8th grade, I participated in picking on a kid so much that he'll likely end up at a psychiatrists for 10+ years.

Of the many things I've declared "awesome", very few have actually inspired awe.

I think a Big Mac is tasty.

I shop at Wal-Mart, and will only stop once I find something cheaper.

I rarely use the phrase "da". I just used it with my name five or so years ago to sound cool.

*gulps* I like a few country songs.

I like Pepsi about as much as I like Coke.

Of OSC's books, I have still only read the Ender and Bean series.

Well, that's all I can think of now.

And I still have all of my names. I just hardly ever use them anymore.

If I'd been the only one planning it, Pat (well, his wife and family) would have ended up with a goat in his front yard as well as the toilet paper.

Jon Boy and Nate were too practical and kind to do something that devious, though.

Hehe... here's a funny story about confession...

I was with my boyfriend Jeffery and we were driving back home. We stopped by his work, a gay bar and grill, to pick up his paycheck. They were understaffed so we stayed for a few minutes so he could help out.

I was at the bar having a drink when I look over in the corner and see a bunch of people. Some of them look familiar. And for some reason remind me of St. Francis Cabrini church and school. Jeff comes back and I ask him, "Who are those people?" "Oh", he says, "they are from the gay Catholic mission from downtown". Catholic?

OH MY GOD! It's Father John and Father Bill! The two coolest priests from the church! I slowly try turning away so they don't see me.

Too late.

They come over.

"Hi Karl".

"Hi guys".

"So Karl, have you been to CONFESSION recently??"

Oh gods... [Wink] "NO!"

It was all in good fun and we had some nice conversation about me and about their work with their new flock....but it was still embarrassing!!

[Smile]

My confessions:

1) I'm totally anxious for Pat to finally get revenge. Waiting is painful, and I'm beginning to think that the only revenge was to think there was revenge planned.

2) I have an alter ego named Natalie. According to an email I just got, she ordered the entire Superman DVD collection. Funny enough, she lives in Indiana and has the exact same email address I do.
