Ahhh, nostalgia. Someone turned Monkey Island into a live action play. The acting is a bit off, and the lines can be poorly delivered sometimes, but it really brings me back.

That's awesome, I don't care that it isn't perfect. I mean not many Monkey Island related things are done nowadays.

I thought it was going to be a stop-motion animated fight between some marshmallow Peeps; but it's just some Peeps blowing up in a microwave, which the filmers seem to think looks like them fighting. The constant backround yelling of "mortal Peep fight" makes it even more pathetic; I knew people in college who would make jokes like that and think they were so clever. The commenter who says
quote:OMG Give me back a minute and a half of my life back u retards
is exactly right, in my opinion.

Its kind of coincidental that the folks at the top say, "NO STOP!' and the guy at the bottom says, "That was awesome!"

Once I saw the muffin/Centipede mushroom get eaten/shot away in four steps, I began to be shocked at how much time and care the animator took with this.

Okay, I know, I know this is a shameless plug, but I want to share it with you anyway.
As most of you know I am a recently professed young nun from Indiana (just professed last weekend, actually). We recently made a new video for vocations and one that offers a short tour of the monastery. The monastery tour has been posted in part online. If anyone is interested in seeing my home (as well as the back of my head several times) check us out

I didn't bother checking to see if someone had posted these before, but I only just discovered that people have been hacking Guitar Hero. The geek in me rejoices.

That hipster olympics was done by a friend of a friend. The friend showed it to me right when he posted it on youtube.
