New plan: keep posting outrageous and offensive statements in the hope that the thread will be closed by the moderator. Possibly the only way to actually get the last post. Though, on second thought, the moderator usually feels it's necessary to add a post describing the nature of the infraction and such.

Perhaps we could agree that the last post cannot be made by a moderator. And while we're thinking up rules for this most excellent game, we could add the rule that any post that causes this thread to be closed will also not be eligable for the last post position.

If somebody who was new had never before posted on hatrack, and posted on this thread saying "I will lose," would the time/space continuum just split in two, causing an alternate timeline, or would all life as we know it cease to exist?
