You know, some people enjoy having a positive outlook on life. It's too bad you feel the need to suck the joy out of it.

What is wrong with parties? They give some people reason to live. Some people live for parties, drugs, sex, and/or miscellanous. Oh and the thing about emotion....smilies are the best way to do anything, so there!

Morbo, im disappointed in your terminology. I hope that threads don't "die". I'd like to think that if it not posted on for a length of time, it is not lost but stored happily with all the other abandoned threads in eternal bliss.

Well it just happens that derailing threads is something we like to do here. You gotta problem with that, "mimsies"?

What do you mean "we" like to derail threads? Do you think we elected you to represent the general opinion of hatrack?

Hey, I WORK during nights, that's never a lovely or pleasant thing to endure. Just because you're lazy and stay home and sleep during them... bah!

Doc, I work nights AND days, my sked is random. I'm offended by your tireder-than-thou attitude.

Morbo, your use of three animated smileys is despicable! Show some respect for the ASCII for once!

I'm afraid I must protest to the constant use of acronyms on this board. Why can't people just write out the words?!

I'm shocked and dismayed by your heaping of shame upon a fellow human over the pseudonymous use of Latin. (Besides, it's all Greek to me.)

Bob, can't you keep your annoying puns in the Pun Smackdown thread! It is so annoying when people try to be funny in a thread about ofeense being taken.

Elizabeth, don't your think your name is a little too overused with the English Monarchy still partly functional? I mean - come on! I'm offended that a Hatracker would like the first pseudoassociation with her to be the English Monarchy!

I am offended about the quibbling, passive-aggressive defensiveness about the spelling of "offense". Honestly, who really cares?

Guys? How can you suddenly presume that every reader of this thread has to be male? I'm offended that there's no consideration for the other sex in your post. "You guys and girls" would be more appropriate!

Why on earth do you feel the need to use multiple punctuation marks? A single question mark would have gotten your point across just fine. My Senior English teacher once marked points off because I did that, and I have yet to get over the trauma. Thanks so much for bringing back that painful memory.

I am, in fact, a her and not a him. CRash, you could've corrected Valentine014 on this matter rather than using your post for some unimportant and facetious criticism.

Star, this is the "take offense" thread game, not the "PC, boring gender correctness" thread game. CRAsh's offense-taking was just fine.

I am offended that you disrespected the "take offense" thread by not spelling it with capitalisation.
