Dougie, the advantage to using black and white is that everyone looks great in it. You get all that shading to hide your imperfections. For me, it hides my many chins. I'm quite partial to it's affects.

And I'm a photography student, so I took those myself. Our darkroom here is only equipped for B&W, so black and white it was.

Just wanted to point out that my hair is a lot longer now than in the pic that Irami posted of mine (oh, I'm the one on the right btw in case anyone was wondering)....
And that Mac and Skyweir and Irami look great and I'm still ploughing through everyone else's pics.

Wow, ladyday! You look great with that hair cut. I had one very similar (though I'm letting it grow out). I looked awful. It takes a really pretty face to make hair that short really work for you, and I just don't have it.
Me and Joel. For reference, those heels made me easily over 6'. I told Joel he'd have to pretend I was a European supermodel, or something. Because I love those heels.

I have to say, after going through all 8 pages of posts here, we have a very nice looking group.
We should all be given permission to breed! (Though not necessarily with each other, except in certain very specific cases. You know who you are!)
And Jeff, you are truly hilarious!
Martha -- I'm very impressed with the costumes!
POD -- great shots, very artistic!
Bonduca -- Lookin good!
Yank -- keep it up! Your face'll freeze that way.
Oh heck I can't remember everybody now. I'm sorry I left you out pH, Olivet, Belle, Paul, Ladyday, Mooselet, Squirrel, Ela, Irami, CT, Paul, and everyone else I've forgotten to mention specifically. Your pictures were great too. And it IS nice to be able to put faces to names.
You're all much better looking than the national norms.
I really like myself as TinkyWinky. I suppose that says something about me, but I'll be darned if I know what...

try linking to tripod, allowing the error message to pop up, deleting the "http://" beginning part of the address in the little location-box-thingy, then click your cursor onto the very end of the new (shortened) address, and finally push enter.
*whew* That worked for me. (Very nice, pH! You have the presence and photogenicity to model. )

This is unbelievable. No one looks like I pictured them to be except Tom and David. Would y'all mind changing yourselves to fit my expectations a bit better?

PH-- I finally got to see you. It is unfair how many hotties we have on this board. I'll post one of me with my dark cirles, uncombed hair and arms full of IV tracks to balance things out.

Ludosti- okey dokey. I'm a bit confused as to the relation of the second pic and your post, but the stick figures were very nice.

Jacare - The stick figures are from one of my favorite sites: exploding dog. As for their relevance, I must admit it's a bit stretched (I was using my logic), but I figured we could always give you a new head (complete with brain preprogrammed with us).
Olivet - The feeling is mutual, my dear.

I added some of Liam's Birthday party. It also includes a picture of the Infamous Baptist Vixen, and one of me baby wrangling atanother kid's party (Liam wanted to get hold of her left over cake while everyone else was watching her open presents).

Someone should take one headshot of everyone and clip it all to one picture with everyone's name at the bottom.

I'll work on that tonight, maybe. I just re-assembled my computer, so I'm eager to try something useful on it.

I think you should start a thread about this. Or give me permission to do so....
What punishment did the girl get?
Things like this make me mad and I could use some opinions about the right things to do in a situation like it. My parenting skills seem woefully inadequate for these kinds of situations. I probably would have told my son way to go. This could be why the school never calls me about problems at school anymore. I mean really, if he had told the teacher he would have bheen a tattletale and picked on even more, but if he stands up for himself then he is the bad kid. And do we really teach our children to ignore such behavior? You know, if you don't let them know it bothers you they will get bored and stop? Here are a couple of things I would have done if I were in charge of the school.
1. I think the girl should have been sitting alone at a lunch table for the rest of the week. (okay this one I probably wouldn't have done, but I do love the punitiveness of it. Is that even a word?)
2. Had the girl stay after lunch and help clean up the cafeteria. (I like the community service part of this and if your school is anything like mine was, she would have missed recess to boot.)
3. Have ever child at the lunch table participate in a bully/teasing prevention class. Have the teacher ask why everyone at the table did nothing to stop it. If they all ignore the problem....arg! Why are people such idiots? And why do they feel the need to pick on others all the time? And why does no one do anything to stop this? They wonder how someone can get murdered in broad daylight and have a crowd of witnesses that saw nothing.
I'm the tall one with no hair...(Duh!) The two girls are mine and the little one, Clarinda, is a foster child that my wife (and I) aren't sure if we will let go of. She really deserves younger parents who are more likely to be around for her wedding.
Sean is xagentmans new son, my grandson...
