Derrell, that's not the issue - I have the meat stack. It just doesn't pop up on the cooking menu.
How are these other people making haggis and why are they keeping it a secret from me?
*shakes fist*
*on reflection, both impressed with the game and embarrassed with myself that I could get so worked up over haggis.*

Yes, it would be worth doing. I have a bunch of batguts, a ton of meat, and a chef-in-the-box. Saves me the trouble of going out on specific missions for food.

I seem to remember making haggis of some sort once, but I don't remember exactly how I did it. Sorry.

I have made bat haggis with my pasta mancer. I think it was just batguts and spices, cooked in my EZ Cook oven. But maybe I can only make it because I'm a pastamancer...

I did a bit of searching and found out that Batguts can no longer be combined with a meat stack because Jick decided that meat "violated the rules of loathing" meaning you can't eat meat.
Instead you now combine Batguts with SPICES to get Haggis.

Spices really are useful. So much so, that I wouldn't waste them on haggis. You don't get much benefit from haggis. I would rather save it up for enchanted bean burritos, for instance.

I feel your pain - I, too, delayed checking this thread out. However, I've been playing long enough to get my first character to level 6 and just got a meat car. You will catch up. When you get to level 3, apply to the Jatraqueros clan and things will get easier - 3 more turns per day plus 500 meat.
I have to advise you, though, it's insidiously addictive.

there are various guilds where you can train to get them once you're in. These are located at the right and/or wrong side of the tracks, depending on what type of adventurer you are.

Unfortunately, UULG, the only keys I have are the Lab key and skeleton keys. No keys for the Hall
And I've spent a LOT of time in the Treasury, and never gotten the Reagent. What I'm looking desperately for right now is Spooky-Gro fertilizer. I know it drops in the Forest, but I'd like to avoid spending L6 adventures there.

The reagent comes from the Laboratory, not the Treasury, but it's not a particularly common drop. I've only ever gotten one (though admittedly I didn't spend a ton of time there).

Oh, damn. I meant Knob Goblin Laboratory. I will send you over three regents okay? It took be a while to collect them, so it should be enough for any lost adventures. I can't even use them anyway because I have no saucerors. What's the name of your character, Rakeesh?
Edited to add: Sent five regents over to Turin the Tipsy Turtle Tamer.

Ohh, no, I'll send `em back. I was just wondering where they dropped-those I hadn't even looked for yet and wanted to get a chance on my own, but thanks *very* much anyway

ludosti (the Pastamancer) level 4 (well, level 3 yesterday when I applied) would very much like to join the Jatraqueros.

Too late, Azile! I sent `em back. Now I can 'bwahahah' about not accepting your kind gift
Another question: Where do I get goat cheese? My turtle tamer is getting hit way too often, so I wanted to buff up his moxie.

I think it's the money making game you have to play for the rock. If I'm not mistaken it's the last one (bottom right). Someone correct me if I'm wrong?

I just got a store in the mall. I can probably sell stuff for other people if you want me to. Or whatever. Anyway, I have a store! Yay!

HC, you're right. To get the big rock, you take a ten leaf clover to the casino and play the money-making game (bottom row, far right).

You know, I can't find the 10-leaf clover at the Hermit's anymore. I've checked my inventory carefully, but it's not there or at the Hermit's.
